Finding Novel MTB Kinase Hits

posted Feb 1, 2012, 9:30 PM by Anshu Bhardwaj

The idea of the project is find novel hits for Mycobacterial Kinases combining structure based/ ligand based approaches and Text Mining Algorithms to mine molecules from large Chemical datasets available using only open source and free academic software's. This project also aims at Studying Chemical Evolution to find relationships between hits and targets.

posted Feb 1, 2012, 9:27 PM by Anshu Bhardwaj   [ updated Feb 1, 2012, 9:27 PM ]

The new OSDD venture to create a small molecule open access repository , involving students and faculty of Chemistry . OSDD aims at encouraging the students in designing novel molecules with anti Tb properties and generating small molecule libraries. Students will be provided training in simple easy to perform modern synthetic reactions, purification and characterization methods and will be encouraged to submit the synthesized molecules in the open access molecular repository of OSDD - OSDDChem
