OSDD Funding Policies
The core funding of OSDD is from the Government of India. For the period of September 2008 to March 2012 Government of India has earmarked Rs 45.96 Crores (about $12 million) for the project. The funds are used for funding the scientific projects, setting up infrastructure, and supporting ongoing activities of the project. Mode Of Release Of Funds OSDD will fund appropriate scientific projects that are involved in TB research and helps OSDD in drug discovery for TB. Projects seeking funds are required to be posted on the open project space at Sysborg 2.0 portal (http://sysborg2.osdd.net/).The projects need to follow the format provided on the portal. Open Peer Review All projects that are posted on Sysborg 2.0 and seek fund are subject to open peer review. Projects need to be posted online for at least 15 days to facilitate open peer review. Researchers who post the project has the freedom to rebut any comment ,add or modify the projects.
